Unable to use terminal in recovery OS X

Hi, when I boot to recovery and try to access Utilities -> Terminal in recovery mode, it doesn't open, the other two options in Utilities work fine but terminal option does not open.

I recently made a fresh installation of OS X and before doing that, terminal was opening in recovery mode but after the installation I can't do it anymore.
