Outlook Crashes each time I am send mail

My Microsoft Outlook is crashing each time I am sending a mail!

I updated my office 365 and updated my MacOS, but I still have the same issue.

Thanks for your reply

Hi there, SpiceMatrix!

Thanks for reaching out via the Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, I am understanding that your Microsoft Outlook is unexpectedly quitting when you try to send an e-mail. I rely on e-mail every day, so I know it is important that your e-mail client works, and would be happy to help!

I have some basic troubleshooting I can recommend to help determine if the issue is related to your OS X software, and fix it if it is. Please try the following steps in order.
  1. Quit the Microsoft Outlook app, following the steps here: OS X El Capitan: Quit apps

After the app has been quit, re-open it while holding the Shift key on your keyboard. Try sending an e-mail.
  2. If the app still quits, restart your Mac by clicking the Apple  menu and selecting Restart... from the drop down. Once the computer is back on, open Microsoft Outlook and try sending another e-mail.
  3. You can continue troubleshooting if the app does unexpectedly quit again by restarting the Mac in safe mode. Instructions for using safe mode can be found here: Try safe mode if your Mac doesn‘t finish starting up

Even though the title of the article is not exactly the same as the issue you're having, safe mode is still a great step to take. It will run a scan of your system during boot, and also disable certain software and processes that could be causing a conflict. Once in safe mode, try sending an e-mail. If Microsoft Outlook continues to quit, try the next step.
  4. Test Microsoft Outlook in another user account. The following article will give you some information on how this can be helpful, as well as instructions on setting up a new user: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac
  5. Should the app quit in another user account, my next recommendation is to uninstall and then reinstall the software. You can get instructions on how to uninstall Microsoft Office from Microsoft's support site here: Uninstall Office 2016 for Mac

Cheers!

Thanks for the update!

If Microsoft Outlook continues to quit after testing in safe mode, please follow the remaining steps in the previous post:

  1. Test Microsoft Outlook in another user account. The following article will give you some information on how this can be helpful, as well as instructions on setting up a new user: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac
  2. Should the app continue to quit in another user account, uninstall and then reinstall the software. You can get instructions on how to uninstall Microsoft Office from Microsoft's support site here: Uninstall Office 2016 for Mac
Have a good day!
