Apple Pencil doesn't fit in Logitech CREATE case for 9.7" iPad Pro when it is closed.

Hi,

I just bought an iPad Pro 9.7" and a Logitech CREATE case for it. Logitech makes a point of the integrated holder for the Apple Pencil. However, when I close the case with Apple Pencil in its holder it presses against the iPad's screen, and I find no way of avoiding this except to remove the pencil, which can't be the point of the holder. All the reviews and videos that I've seen don't mention this problem.

Does anybody have any experience with this combination and can tell me whether there's a way to avoid damaging the iPad when the pencil is left in the holder and the case is closed. I've posed the question to Logitech support and not received an answer.
