iPhone 6 we chat network error

Hi

my iPhone 6 when I try to go on we chat keeps saying connection error check network settings even though all other apps are fine and no problems with wifi. I have updated OS but it was also doing it before the update. I have removed WeChat app and reinstalled app restarted phone and wifi. Very frustrating.
