    Yes, open the control centre and then Swipe to the left. You'll see an option saying iPhone, tap that. It'll show options for airplay without mirroring.

    This is a huge problem for me in IOS 10. Previously I could stream a video presentation from safari And when the video is over, Apple TV would revert to whatever state it was in before streaming the video. Now, it reverts to mirroring whatever device I happen to be using. It's ugly, clunky and inefficient- much lower than the standards we have come to expect from Apple. Please please please fix this! I am running the latest beta (3) of 10.1 On IPad Air 2 and iPhone 6s Plus with an Apple TV. In my household we are also seeing this issue with an IPad Air and IPhone 6S.
