Sep 19, 2016 12:18 AM in response to Massimo Fiorentinoby LucoBrasi,Press the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and hold them for at least 10 seconds.
If this does not help, take a look these Apple Support articles:
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on - Apple Support
Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.
As a final step, try the recovery mode. Turn your device off, then plug it to your computer with the home button pressed. Keep the Home button pressed until you see the iTunes logo on the screen of your iPhone. After that on your computer you should see the iTunes window saying your iPhone needs to be restored to factory settings. Click on the restore button.

Sep 20, 2016 2:16 AM in response to Massimo Fiorentinoby MaximusMayorem,★HelpfulHi, I had a similar issue on my air 2. it became unresponsive and would go black. Could only recover through hard boot. Found that switching off location services for some apps like Google Photos has helped. Not sure if that's the issue but you could try and report back. Good luck!

Sep 20, 2016 2:18 AM in response to MaximusMayoremby Massimo Fiorentino,Thank you! I will try that. Have your iPad also an issue when unlocking? Sometimes I also just get a 'blank' screen - that is I only see the background, the 'status' info at the top (time, battery etc.) and then nothing else. As if all my icons and the dock had disappeared. Again, I need to reboot…
