Sep 19, 2016 12:33 AM in response to Gerben Wierdaby Gerben Wierda,★HelpfulSolved. You can stream to audio-only devices in the Music app. Open current song play and on the bottom there is an airplay button. The Airplay on the control center has become restricted to full iPhone mirroring.

Sep 19, 2016 3:03 PM in response to Gerben Wierdaby turcott,But I don't WANT it in the Music app only. Why has iPhone mirroring been restricted???? This is an awful and terrible decision. Please Apple, make this restriction go away.

Sep 19, 2016 8:26 PM in response to Gerben Wierdaby djmichaelson,I agree. This is a disaster! I used to be able to flick the control center and then choose where to direct the sound, whether it be music, audio books, or video. I could choose AppleTV OR my stereo OR my car. Now, the phone will link up in my car but when I turn the engine off, the phone remains linked to the car. If I'm on the phone, I lose my connection when the engine goes off. If I'm listening to a book on tape, that's gone too. There's no way to tell the phone to switch from car > iPhone, or from iPhone > Stereo speakers. The only thing iOS 10 will allow me to do consistently is mirror up to Apple TV, an option I virtually NEVER USE!!! What's up with that? It all integrated so well before. Now, it's a major hassle. I'm glad I didn't download iOS 10 to my iPad or computer--then I'd really be sunk! Apple, PLEASE RESTORE THE PREVIOUS VERSION OF AIRPLAY. This one is simply not flexible enough for most purposes.

Sep 20, 2016 12:14 AM in response to fl3625by Gerben Wierda,★HelpfulIt is still available in Control Center. CC now has multiple panes. Swipe up for CC, the Swipe left. You get the Music interface and here you can manage audio airplay

Sep 20, 2016 1:12 PM in response to Gerben Wierdaby johnfromsurry,Good job Gerben: bad job Apple! Completely non-intuitive, but at least it's there. C'mon Apple, please fix this. It was better before you messed with it.

Sep 21, 2016 8:38 AM in response to Gerben Wierdaby ericfromfairfax,Had I not checked this out on my iPad (standard size, landscape) I am not sure I'd have ever found it. Swiping up revealed the CC, and just off to the edge - aha! there's something else over there.

Sep 21, 2016 10:21 AM in response to Gerben Wierdaby jackfromely,Cool beans. I have enabled "Hey Siri" and Siri "Access on Lock Screen". I come home, I swipe via the CC, enable my Airport Express, and then I put my phone down. While unpacking my groceries, I control my Music via "hey siri" and it plays directly to my amp and sound system. Thanks Gerben Wierda!

Sep 21, 2016 12:27 PM in response to Gerben Wierdaby nealeh01,I Invested in airport expresses, Apple TVs and airplay enabled amps and other equipment. I have a subscription to Deezer solely because it works with Whhale to stream in sync to my sources. I upgrade to iOS 10 and Apple effectively give me the finger for investing in their kit....cccrrraaaaapppp. Ive got the fiddley unhelpful 'upgrade' to the control centre, but iOS no longer sees my airport expresses AT ALL. Sort it out ASAP please. Just gone off buying a new iPhone 7+ and mbp
