Oct 12, 2016 6:51 AM in response to T1gerPawsby Ropel Levis,Add me to the list. Mail repeatedly crashing on iPad 4 since iOS 10 update.
Suggestion: I installed Outlook and Spark. Both of them run properly. It's ironical !

Oct 12, 2016 3:37 PM in response to T1gerPawsby Martekapple,Yup, ditto and reported. iPad 4. Tried everything. Still crashing. I just upgraded my iPhone 5 to a 6s. Neither crashed. Seems to be unique to the iPad 4.

Oct 13, 2016 10:12 AM in response to Gilvamby EdtheBook,To add insult to injury I just received this from Best Buy
$429 for the same IPad I paid $499 for last week minus my trade in credit of $90 for my IPad 2. According to that price I got $30 for my IPad.

Oct 13, 2016 11:50 AM in response to EdtheBookby Gilvam,Just to say that my iPad was like new from the box... not a single scratch... on the Best Buy website you can simulate the value.... it depends on a few things, but I got at the store what was expected from the site.

Oct 13, 2016 12:07 PM in response to Gilvamby crumpethead,I'Ve got an iPad Pro and while mail has crashed many times since updating to iOS10, my main problem is that mail's search field disappears every time I use mail. Resetting the app by deleting from active memory temporarily fixes the problem for a few minutes only.

Oct 13, 2016 12:43 PM in response to crumpetheadby Nokegchris,Well this is disheartening, my husband ordered me an iPad Pro hoping this would help..., I'm very frustrated!

Oct 13, 2016 1:07 PM in response to T1gerPawsby caom86,In my opinion it is just a ******* bug. Apple should fix it and we are all happy. The Mail App didn't change in a way that so much more RAM is needed. For what? The Mail App displayed the messages and lists before very well. Why should it need so much more RAM that it crashes now. Thats just stupid... It is a bug – for sure...

Oct 13, 2016 1:30 PM in response to caom86by Nokegchris,Well this whole thing is frustrating.....I can't complain my husband bought me a new pad, but really I love my pad, I don't really do anything but mail, read news, not too much of a game player......hoping the new pad will have bugs worked out, I may be back to this thread in a few days complaining.

Oct 13, 2016 5:35 PM in response to EdtheBookby EdtheBook,Now to add insult to injury Best Buy has the same IPad listed for $424.99 with other incentives. So it now appears as if I only got $25 for my IPad 2

Oct 13, 2016 8:03 PM in response to T1gerPawsby atxbandit,I have to agree that this has to be a bug in iOS 10. I installed the yahoo mail app and am not having any problems using that. Seems to me that Apple is just trying to sell more iPads.

Oct 18, 2016 8:26 PM in response to T1gerPawsby Gilvam,As I've mentioned before... and I'm guessing here, but after getting the iPad Air 2, with iOS 10.0.2 the crash has stoped so it might be some RAM limitation...
anyone with an iPad other then iPad 4th Gen, having the email crash issue?

Oct 18, 2016 9:50 PM in response to T1gerPawsby MichelPM,To everyone having issues with their iPad 4s.
Everything here applies to iPad 4 models, also.
In addition, if anyone is fed up with the stock iOS Mail App on iOS 10, I suggest taking a look at this iOS Mail app replacement.
For Those Frustrated with iOS Mail App on iOS 10.
Good Luck!

I guess then this will be last post here... good luck everyone.
