Q: This Feature requires Apple Music(When it is already turned on

Hey Apple Community,

I tried signing up for Apple music (the college student membership), I got redirected to Unidays' website and I signed up and even confirmed my college e-mail. This is where the issue occurs; when I'm redirected back to itunes...I receive the message:“This Feature requires Apple Music”,but I'm sure I turned it on in the Preference part(It's below the library name").

And sign in the Unidays' website,I found my student status is verified,But when I choose Apple music and want to go to the next step, same problems happened. It still needs me to show the Apple Music features".And I can't go forward and pay the monthly fee.

    Hey SuperGhostT,

I understand that you not able to completely sign up for Apple Music. Based off of what you are describing, you are getting stuck right after you have verified your student through UNiDAYS, but when you are taken back to iTunes, you are not getting any further on signing up. Le't see if we can get that sorted out.

You do have multiple ways to sign up, either on your iPhone, Android device, or through iTunes using your computer. Take a look at the article below to walk you through those steps, just in case you have missed something. You can also try signing up on your iPhone or Android device.
