[EMERGENCY] How to Control iPhone with Broken Screen from Mac?

I have got an iPhone 6S with iOS 10 installed.

I have got an Apple Watch Series 1 with watchOS 3 installed.

iPhone fell into water.

Screen stopped operation.

Using the function "Ping iPhone" of Apple Watch (see image below) makes the iPhone ping.

Otherwise I have not got any information of the state of iPhone. Somehow it seems to be alive of some sort.

Is there a way to interact with iPhone from my Mac to decouple Apple Watch from iPhone and back up iPhone?

iPhone is not jailbroken.

I appreciate any directions and recommendations for tools!

Many thanks!

No. Sorry. Make an appointment at the genius bar. Your phone will have to be replaced.

I gave it a few tries myself and here is what worked since only the screen itself was defect in that way that it only did not illuminate any more.

I connected iPhone to a Mac with the Lightning cable and used Quicktime to mirror my iPhone screen as if I would like to record it. That way I could see what the screen showed.

Guessing the locations of controls (icons, keyboard) on the screen worked rather well. So I could operate the phone.
