iPhone SE can't reestablish LTE comms on iOS10

My iPhone SE running iOS 10.0.1 (on T-Mobile) needs to be power cycled in order to re-establish data communication after previously connecting to a Wi-Fi network.

Specifically, if I connect to Wi-Fi (for calling, data, etc.) and then go out of range of the hot spot, my phone is unable to re-establish data communications using T-mobile LTE. I have to power cycle to get it back.

Interestingly, I don't have this issue if I turn off wi-fi while still in range.

Honestly, I've been having a lot of gremlins with 4G LTE data access under iOS10 on my iPhone SE.

iPhone SE, iOS 10, 64GB model, T Mobile
