watchOS 3 missing future calendar

In the calendar app of my original Apple Watch (WatchOS 3) I am only able to see my iCloud events for the current day. i see events for future days, but they are just events from a subscribed calendar and not my personal iCloud calendar. paired with iPhone 6 iOS 10

Hello Jensen Gelford,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are not seeing upcoming events in Calendar on the Apple Watch from the iPhone. There are a couple things we can check to make sure they show up.
You can check the settings by going to the Watch app on the iPhone. Scroll down to Calendar > make sure you have Mirror my iPhone enabled. Make sure you have the iCloud calendars you want to see checked in the Calendar app.
If you do not want to use Mirror my iPhone make sure Upcoming Events is turned on.
