No. There are no viruses that affect OS X. It's important to understand that because the first thing many former Windows users do is seek an "anti-virus" solution, which is the first step in a well-worn path to misery.
Read the link posted by CT to identify the process or processes that are burdening your Mac. Post a screenshot it you wish, similar to the one in that Support document.
Make it look like this, with the CPU tab selected and the %CPU column sorted in decreasing order.
