Q: Calendar not in SYNC'ed after iOS MacOS Update

My calendar are not in sync'ed today, one day after iOs and MacOS was updated.

I added 4 events on iPhone but only one appear on my iMac.

I added 1 event on iMac but not appear on iPhone.

I deleted a repeated event on iPad but it is still appearing on iMac but it was removed on my iPhone.

I am confused and the calendaring is out of control. What should I do now?

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

Try going to iCloud.com to see if the items are there and whether they are from the device or the computer. That should show whether the device or the computer isn't syncing. If the computer, try going to System Preferences/iCloud and stop syncing. Wait a couple of minutes, then recheck syncing. If the device, go to Settings/iCloud and do the above. You can also try signing out of iCloud and then sign in again.

Thanks Eric for the suggestion. I was under work pressure that I didn't have the courage and time to try out your methods. I create many events/meetings/reminders/etc on the Calendar and will not "bother" to remember them after they are created. I rely heavily and trust the system that they are recorded online real time. At this moment, I have to reconcile the events I created on iMac, iPhone and iPad.

This morning I add one event on my iPhone, but it did not appear on the iMac Calendar but it is available on iCloud.com.

Try to un-sync calendar (iMac > System Preference > iCloud) has no effect on this.

You are welcome.  Try signing out of iCloud on the iMac, wait a couple of minutes, and sign back in.

The calendar syncing is ok now. I suspect the new update has helped. The syncing is so much faster (almost instantaneous) as compared to the past which takes "forever".

I have not reconcile those events that were out-of-synced but will deal with them when they come (my attitude is record and forg'o't about it).
