Sep 19, 2016 9:38 AM in response to David Mahonyby Diana.McCall,Are those Bluetooth remotes or IR? Do they resume working if you disconnect power from Apple TV? How about if you disconnect the ATV HDMI cable from the TV?

Sep 19, 2016 10:46 AM in response to Diana.McCallby David Mahony,They're both IR. I've tried disconnecting all leads from the ATV and still the remotes wont work.
(The HDMI is connected to my AV receiver and the AV remote seems to work fine!)

Sep 19, 2016 12:27 PM in response to Diana.McCallby David Mahony,As everything was working absolutely fine prior to the install I can only assume that the ATV that screwed up my TV & remotes through the HDMI?

Sep 19, 2016 1:41 PM in response to David Mahonyby Diana.McCall,That's hard to imagine. HDMI is a pretty limited interface for such tricks. Is there any chance that you've blocked the TV IR port?

Sep 20, 2016 6:00 AM in response to Diana.McCallby David Mahony,Ok I agree but heres the latest...
I disconnected everything from the mains and all HDMI's to the TV, ATV4, Sky Box and AV Receiver, reconnected and now the remotes work!
However, while watching a broadcast on BBC iPlayer I lost audio, I checked the connections all looked ok so I swapped over to my ATV2 and it worked.
I put the ATV4 back and still no sound but after turning things on and off the sound came back...I can only assume theres an issue with the HDMI-CEC in relation to the TV, ATV4, AV Receiver, Sky Box and Bluray player?
