    Replace the entire folder.

OS X 10.11 El Capitan, Mail is stored in User’s Library V3 folder , copy and paste:

    ~/Library/Mail/

Thank you "leroydouglas" for your reply. However I do not want to restore the entire Mail library. I want to restore individual Folders and individual messages from them. It seems to be possible for I can bring up those folders and select the messages for restoration. However, the Time Machine presentation completely fills the screen (and cannot be resized) and I cannot see and select the date from which I want to restore. Thus, I want to select individual folders and messages at a specific date for restoring them. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.
