I tried syncing my phone to iTunes and I get an error message stating "invalid response from device". I tried removing passcode, and it still won't work. I've also tried using a brand new USB cord. Am I doing something wrong?? I can't sync any of my music or ringtones. Will there be an update to iOS 10 soon to fix this problem? I'm extremely disappointed that I can't connect my brand new phone!

I am having the same issue. I'm on a new MacBook pro, all software is up to date. Using a new cord, tried both USB ports, and still can not sync. Just keeps beeping and connecting & unconnecting. Help!
Are you using iTunes version 12.5?
I Have the most recent version. Unless they've updated it since Saturday 9/17/16
Try a different USB port. Also try uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling it if that doesn't resolve the problem.

No, uninstall does not remove your iTunes library. Backup your computer before uninstalling iTunes in case something goes wrong.

I Had to update my operat system then upgrade iTunes to the newest version.
Which OS? I just downloaded Sierra and iTunes 12.2.2.25 as the latest version

I have the same problem , I have the latest software on both my iTunes and my pic and my new iPhone 7. I'm not using a mac, I have a Lenovo but I have the itunes app. My iPhone 6 didn't have this problem. My sisters iPhone 7 is doing the same problem. Very disappointed , is there anything we can do
Did you get a successresolution? I have the latest iOS, the latest iTunes as of 12/12/16 and still same connection problem. The uninstall and reinstall did not help.
