Google maps in my iPhone shows my location always in Home but when I go to Maps it shows my real location. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

I just got iOS 10 and when I use Google Maps app away from Home it shows my location in Home. I opened the Apple Maps App and it does show my real location. I really need to use Google Maps since Maps is not available in my country. I already reset my phone, I tried on calibrating from the compass App, I reinstalled the App but nothing seems to work on solving my problem.

Hello Andres1227,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

I see that after upgrading to iOS 10, the Google Maps app is not showing your correct location. I can imagine that it's concerning to have an app not work like it did on a previous iOS software version. I can help assist you with this.

You mentioned that you reinstalled the app already, that is good. Since iOS 10 was recently released though, I would double-check the App Store once more on your iPhone and see if there's been any iOS updates for your Google Maps app. If there are updates, please install them.

There's also a site from Google that can assist you with your Google maps app location's accuracy on your iPhone:
Find and improve your location’s accuracy

If you have any further questions about the Google Maps app, please use the link below to contact Google directly:

Best Regards.
