I am looking a way to change the color of calendar and created events .
Also , want to change the name of calendar , give invitations to people to events .
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated .

Edit: That link appears to be a little dated. You may have better luck using the Calendar>Help menu item.

The article is useful in a half way but there is no method how to give invitations to events not the dinning invitation as stated in the article .

As indicated in my Edit above which you probably did not see, typing Invitations in the Help Menu and selecting Calendar (El Capitan): Invite people to events will help you with that question.
