Q: How can I save space without deleting my backups

As far as I know I keep my iCloud, find my iPhon, sync and storage on all the time but idk what it's doing. How can I save space and important information without deleting my backups? I want to keep good pictures and videos but I also need to keep all of my important emai, contacts, reminders and calendars. The reason why I have iCloud is to keep up with and go back to the things that I may not have room for in my cellphone but I don't think I have any iCloud storage space although I don't know what I have there or where to find any of my content. I also know that I've had iCloud for about 2yrs. but I don't have any points?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 10, The whole 64 is always full but why

    Hi, Brandikey0024!

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, I see you have some questions about how iCloud works, specifically how to manage your iCloud storage. I use iCloud myself, so being able to manage what content is using space is important for me, and I'd be happy to help!

To get started, I would recommend checking out the following article; it will let you know how you can see what your iCloud storage currently looks like, and provide options on managing it.

    Manage your iCloud storage

iCloud comes with 5GBs of free storage space. If you find you need more than that after reading through the above article, you can purchase a storage upgrade. The article linked below will provide you with some more information on the types of storage upgrades available, and how to get them.

I also recommend checking out the following website, where you can find all the information you'll need about iCloud in one location.

    Cheers!
