How to deleted downloaded (but uninstalled) El Capitan from App Store?
I downloaded El Capitan, but do not want to install it. How do I delete the downloaded (6+GB) files?
OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
Same as every other file, drag it to the trash

I would have tried that if I could find the file. This was downloaded through the app store.
It will be in the Applications folder, entitled Install OS X El Capitan.
As Stedman1 stated, it is in your Applications folder
