Icloud for Windows - PC

Why Do I need Icloud for Windows - PC - I thought I had to have it at first, but I am wondering do I really need it as there is hardly anything stored there. Am I not taking advantage of something that may be valuable from an I.T. perspective.

I have Windows 10 on HP PC

I have an Iphone 6s+ with 16G at time of purchase

My icloud storage purchase is on both Iphone (200 Gb) and pc

I use my iphone mostly for photos and videos, but not games.

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.2

You mentioned you upped your iCloud storage amount to 200 GB so I'm assuming you're using it for mail, calendar, reminders, notes, contacts, photos/videos, etc.?

If that's the case and you wish to see these things populated to other devices with iCloud on it, then it may be of use to you. If however, you're not a heavy user, or perhaps you utilize third-party applications, then maybe it's not really for you.

Either way, it's optional and not absolutely necessary you download it to your Windows device.
