What is ilife preview
I am new at Garage Band. I recorded 38 min of audio. now I open it and it says can not open because was not prepared in ilife preview. What is this and how do I open files.

Are you using the old GarageBand 11 or the new GarageBand X?
iLife Preview was a feature in GarageBand 11. Whenever you saved your Project, GarageBand created an audio file of your mix (the iLife Preview File) that could be used (played) in other so-called iLife apps, like iMovie. Apple doesn't use that feature anymore in GarageBand X. Instead, it lets you Share to the "Media Browser", which is similar, as it saves an audio files that can be accessed (played) from other apps without opening the GarageBand Project.
