Old SCSI Iomega Zip Drive disks (PC) to Mac

I came across my old Iomega Zip 100 Drive that I used with my PC back in 1999. It is a SCSI drive. I am all about Apple and Mac for the last 10 years or so. I do have access to a Windows computer with, I think, Windows 98 on it. Is there any way to get the photos off the Zip Disks? I don't want to get a SCSI to USB cable and ruin my MAC. Would the Mac even read the saved files. No, I don't know how I saved them. I just want the photos off the disks.

Any information would greatly be appreciated!!

Are you sure that it is a SCSI drive (it is relatively unusual to find SCSI on a PC)? There was an external parallel version of the Zip 100 drive. The connectors are DB-25 for both versions, but the SCSI model has a special SCSI icon and switches for ID and termination. The Iomega cables for parallel and SCSI had different colours. Do not confuse the models. Do not connect a parallel drive to a SCSI port, or vice versa.

Anyway, if the Zip drive in question in fact can be properly connected to the Windows (98) PC, you should be able to read the Zip disks there. There are some methods that can be used for a transfer to a modern Mac. Does this PC have Ethernet?

Which exact Mac model is it? Do you have access to a USB floppy drive (that could be connected to a Mac)?

It would also be possible to locate a USB Zip drive that could be connected to a modern computer. It would then be a matter of moving the Zip disks only.
