Q: How to copy or move motion path whole

Hi

I use FCPX these days, but am using FCS on old flick. I know there's shortcuts in FCP 7 to copy or just grab and move a motion path previously created.

What are they?

Select (highlight) and copy the clip in the Timeline that has the motion already applied to it.  Right-click on the clip that you want the same motion attributes applied and choose Paste Attributes -> Basic Motion.

Thanks for the reply and answer.

I know there's also a shortcut if you want to move/adjust the motion path in its entirety in the clip that already has the path. Something like 'hand' and option, or something, but I've tried that and other combinations and nothing has worked yet.

    Any ideas?

Thanks again for the answer to the first question.

Toggle on Clip Keyframes in the timeline by typing Option + T or pressing the Toggle keyframes button. Once the keyframes are shown, you can mouse over, click down and drag the keyframes earlier of later in the clip.
