Q: accessing keyboard for typing texts, emails on IPhone 5S after installing IOS 10.0.1

After updating my IPhone 5S to IOS 10.0.1 yesterday, I can not access the keyboard to type emails, texts. Any ideas?

    I understand that after updating to iOS 10, you are no longer able to access your keyboard on your iPhone. I know it's important to be able to type on your phone, so I'm happy to help.

    The best troubleshooting step to start with in this case would be restarting your iPhone. Check out this article for the steps to do this:
    Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

    If you still have issues after this, let us know what you see when you try to use your keyboard.

    Norm,

     

    I am having the same issue on my IPhone 6S Plus.  Accessing the keyboard on any app, email, IMessage is extremely lagged or I have to click multiple times in the text field for the keyboard to pop-up and even then it is delayed.  I have forced reset my phone and still having the same issue.

     

    Any Suggestions....?

    I also have this problem and I haven't had any luck after restarting my phone.  When I try to use my keyboard only get the emojis that you have to download the emoji app to use. Is there another fix?
