working with Pages

I just started to work with Pages, I want to use it to prepare invoices. Everything seems to work fine except for one problem.. For example if I enter 100.00 it looks ok but then when I go to the next line, it changes and the two .00 after the 100 aren't there, here are 2 screen shots to show thisI assume it is probably a simple fix, any ideas? thanks
