Q: iPhone not recognized on PC

If you had an issue like I did where your iPhone, when pluged into your PC will not be recognized so you can access you Photo's and copy them to your PC, or for what ever other reason, I hope this will help.

I have looked in my Device Manager and found that there was a yellow triangle beside "WPD FileSystem Volume Drive Error". I looked this up online and found for some the issue had to do with an anti virus installed but this was not the case for me.

My issue was with the Motherboard Support Software. You know, the one with all that extra memory management stuff to boost your performance with it instead of booting into the bios. It was specifically with the Ai Charger+ package that made the USB ports charge faster.

After numerous attempts to uninstall and delete the one cause I ended up having to uninstall the whole support package CD and now Windows will recognize the iPhone as a device when connected.

I am running Windows 10 version 1607 (build 14393.187)

Hope this helps someone.
