iPhone 6s notification with bluetooth

When I have my bluetooth headset connected, the iPhone still rings so I can hear it. However and for message notification, the iPhone doesn't emit the sound. It only comes thru the bluetooth headset.

How can I make the iPhone also emit the message sound notifications from the iPhone itself vs. just the bluetooth headset. I searched thru all settings but cannot find a
