Q: Repeating Sign in Message for iTunes Store

Updated my wife's iPhone 6 to 6s. I am receiving a message to sign into iTunes account that no longer is active. Is there a way to get eliminate the message? I updated my phone at same time and my update phone does not have the message. Would resetting the phone eliminate the problem.
