Q: Update brings new frustating interface for big screens
Edit: I can't move the post from iTunes Store forum to iTunes for Mac forum because "im not authorized to move this content" so sorry.
I use iTunes very frequently, and it is constantly changing interfaces with updates - in my humble opinion they should stick to one and carry on. And this update made things very hard for me.
Previously when viewing large albums on grid view, there were three columns, and my 22" screen could handle it very well. However with this update, it changed to 2 columns and text got bigger, and this is very bad when you have albums with over 100 songs like me. Also when viewing the songs, text is not colored anymore, I loved that feature. Everything is white and bright, at least they could add a dark mode. I see they are trying to get as similar to iOS 10 as possible, but I personally think there should be a line between mobile and desktop, because of the huge difference between screen sizes.
Is there a way to revert back to previous interface without downgrading iTunes, or should I download an older version? Would that corrupt my archive?
