Sep 20, 2016 1:30 AM in response to philsteinby Luis Sequeira1,You probably need an appropriate version of flip4mac. The base version lets you view wmv files, there are two or three other versions. Look for the version that suits your needs.

What is the professional solution to converting FCP X's mov files to windows media player wmv. I feel like I'm missing something obvious since all of Google's answers are from '10 to '08.
That was about the time Microsoft stopped working on wmv.
That's about when we got IT to drop support for wmv and now we work mostly in h264 for all of our clients.

Sep 22, 2016 2:12 PM in response to Tom Wolskyby philstein,it's the obvious solution i was missing above, the reason why no one is talking about WMV's since 2010. i only have this issue once a year with an industrial manuf. so was not up to speed since they asked for WMV's not knowing they need mp4. my bad.
