Q: iPhone 7 and BMW Bluethooth streaming issues

Hey

I have a 2016 BMW and iphone 7 10.0.1

When I stream music from my phone from my car the music stops after few seconds

My phone shows that the music keep playing but the connection is lost

did anyone experience the same issue with phone calls yet

anyone have any advice?

BTW i deleted my old phone pairing from the car.

    Agreed. My phone will connect for messages and Siri (so she can screw up my texts!) if I turn off the audio function -- so it can communicate with the phone by Bluetooth. It just freezes when audio is used for music. I also notice the images flicker before it freezes. My real concern was it might not be a patch issue (unlikely?) or it might take a month or two.

    Fixed. I went to BMW dealership to get something fixed. They updated the software too. which somehow fixed the issue. SO it may just be the issue on BMW side.

    The same thing happened to me when my car came back from service however joy was short lived  as after a few days same old problems surfaced. Music now only streams for a few seconds then stops and the phone will no longer connect.
