iOS 10 vibration problem

Ever since I updated to iOS 10 my iPhone does not vibrate when notificationa arrive. I checked my settigs and vibration is activated. I've seen other people with the same problem, does anybody know how to fix this?

iPhone 5s, iOS 10

Hallelujah! That did the trick.

I have no idea how vibrate got toggled 'off' in 'Accessibility', but that was the problem.

When I upgraded to iOS 10, did this setting default to 'off'?

If so, why?

All of my sounds have a matching vibrate pattern, and those survived the upgrade.


I did notice that my personal accessibility settings didn't survive the upgrade. They were wiped out, and I had to reset them. I assume this was because the accessibility settings in iOS 10 were not identical to the iOS 9 settings.

Did you already try to force restart the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data, but this can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.

If this should not work, setting it back to factory settings would be the next step:
