Why do you tell me to post and then don't let me post?

Every time I try to ask a question it says I do not have permission to modify content! This is stupid.

The software that runs the forum has a bug that results in this misbehavior occasionally for some people. If it persists, you need to tell us - in detail, step-by-step - precisely what actions you take. Assume that we are blind and you are describing everything that you do, describing what you see.

We then can alert our Hosts so that they may help you fix the problem for your account. They cannot help without knowing everything that you experience.

Excellent point, Diana (ya done it agin!)

What has always puzzled me is that while the JiveWare can easily "detect" the situation it cannot present an alert that precisely describes the condition - AND the solution to it.

I know it can be done in Jive - simply from the camera tool shows an alert for different disallowed image files with the SAME alert, but it has ALL the different "rules" covered

User uploaded file

What the problem may be is that the "page" JiveWare is really running "client-side" and "communicating" with the server ONLY when all conditions are met (the "tests" are done client side from scripts that are already loaded when the page is first visited)

This seems to me to be a solvable problem, it just takes the will to find the way.
