Silent Mode Glitch

I updated to ios 10.0.1 a few days ago and have had no problems until about thirty minutes ago. My phone keeps consecutively and quickly, vibrating while indicating that it's switching in and out of silent mode. I'm not hitting the switch on the side. It's just doing it. And my phone is currently stuck in silent mode. The switch is not in silent mode, my speakers still play sound when I go to the "sound" setting and toggle the ringer volume. My phone has switched on and off a few times and a weird half blue half red screen pops up while rebooting, before it shuts off and reboots again. I really need to know if anyone else is having a similar issue or a fix. I tried a soft reboot to no avail.

Hi Mehmess,
From your post I understand that your iPhone 6s Plus that was recently updated to iOS 10.0.1 is having some issues with the silent switch and restarting with a blue and red screen. I have an iPhone as well and I depend on it functioning properly. I will be happy to help you with this.
The first thing that I recommend is to create a backup of your device, either in iTunes or iCloud.
How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

To help isolate if the issue is hardware or software related lets restore the phone as new using iTunes.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

Then test it out to see how it's running afterwards. Reach back out to us, if you are still experiencing any issues with you iPhone.
