I have problem using Bose Companion 5 with usb. The system works with previous OS.

Any suggestion?

HI pierluigifrompalermo,

I understand that after updating your iMac to OS X El Capitan, you are having troubles using your Bose Companion 5 through USB. I know it's nice to have alternate audio devices to use with your iMac, so I'm happy to help.

What happens when you try to use your Bose Companion 5? Are you able to use other USB audio devices with your iMac?

You may just need to adjust the audio settings on your iMac for this to work. You can see how to do so here:
