Lightning to Headphone Jack Issues

Hi there,


I have noticed a strange thing on my iPhone 7. Since I don't have a wireless headphone just yet I'v been using my Beats Tour earphones with the adapter that came with the iPhone. What I've noticed is that once I plug in my Beats to the adapter and start playing music I cannot skip/pause songs. Basically can't use the controllers at all on my earphones. Strange thing is that I disconnect the adapter and plug it back and it works! Once I pause the song it goes back to the previous state I mentioned, non functional mode ...


I'm not sure if it is a software issue or hardware related or maybe just the dongle acting up but it is pretty annoying!

Anyone else experienced the same or similar problem ?

Other users have reported experiencing issues with both Apple and third-party headphones.


Apple is reportedly working on a fix.


In the meantime, I suggest letting Apple know that you are also experiencing problems:
