Return it and do not buy a 6 or 6 Plus. Both models (6 Plus more than the 6) have issues with the Touch IC. Solder from near the logic board becomes loose and the connection isn't consistent. There are TONS of people right now with the same issue and Apple refuses to acknowledge it. It's a manufacturing/design defect.

If you've done the resets properly then the issue is hardware. Definitely something to look into.

Hold your horses there GrecoISU, there are 2 different causes of unresponsive touch:

- One is the "touch disease" from a loose logic board. You'll see flickering bands on the screen if you have this.

- The other is a software problem, widely reported with iOS 10 on an iPhone 6, where the touch screen is intermittently unresponsive or offset (i.e., pressing 1 app launches another app). Putting the phone to sleep and waking it a couple times may temporarily resolve this. Also try turning the Settings > Display > Display Zoomed to Standard if you have it zoomed. If not you can always try installing iOS 9, some people have reported this is a solid fix.
