Yes you dont the Youtube App Requires iOS or Later but you can still download Youtube "Do you know How?" Here it is First Dowload iTunes from Apple.com if you have a PC if you have a Mac just open iTunes and log with the Same Apple ID that you have logged in your iPhone and search any higher than your iOS Version Then Hit Get and Download and pause you dont want to fully download it,Then search the app you search in your Mac/PC and a Cloud Sign will be there on your iPhone sometimes not but its ok and install it and it pop-ups saying That you can download the Previous Version of this app And thats all

In order to run anything newer then that you need to replace the obsolete iPhone 4 with newer hardware to run the newer versions of iOS.

There is no iPhone that can be updated to 8.0 now. iPhone 4 can only go to 7.1.2. More recent phones to 9 or 10.
