I understand from your post that your iPad Air is not functioning properly after updating it to iOS 10. I know how important it is for your iPad to run smoothly after updating the software. The software may not have installed properly, so you will want to restore it using iTunes on your computer. If you are able to create a backup of your iPad first. Then use iTunes to restore your iPad and set it up as new.
