I just upgraded to ios 10 and I cannot find my home videos. I'm talking about TV shows or movies that I did not buy through iTunes. They used to be in the Videos app under "home movies", but that is no longer there. Can you only watch a video on your iphone if you purchase it through iTunes? I have an iphone 6s.

It is not under the new "TV" app and only enough when doing it from iTunes it asks you to download an app that no longer exists!
Did you look in the photos app?
Yes, but did not see them there. These are not videos I took with my iPhone, they are files I synced through iTunes on my computer. The photos app has also changed a lot, so its possible they got put there and I don't see them...
Did you try syncing again? Make sure that the videos are selected and then sync.
I did the same thing. Sync'd several time and they are no longer there. I had scuba videos that I liked to keep on my iPad to share and they no longer appear.
I have the same problem. IOS10 marketing says it's more personal. They were just kidding.
You can find them under the new "TV" app that was installed when you upgraded.
