Q: apple music year subscription
I got an error when trying to redeem - "Problem with iTunes balance" (I had a 0 balance to start) and then it added $99 to my account. I have been working for 12 days with iTunes support. I asked them if adding 99 to my account and subtracting 8.25 is the way it is supposed to work. The first support person said yes, the second time I called they said no and have been working with engineering for 6 days trying to figure it out. I made a video of the process and engineering is perplexed as to why this is happening. The problem is I can't do anything related to buying apps / music (even if free) until they fix the issue.
The iTunes support member encouraged to post my issue here in hopes this would help resolve the issue (which I thought is strange as I'm working with iTunes support and engineering!)
Anyone have similar issue and a possible resolution?!?!?!
