iOS10 Calendar Push Notifications

Ever since updating my calendar reminders, usually a 15 minute warning, have stopped pushing to my phone. I have checked and the notification settings are correct, as are the settings in the calendar. However, I am still not getting these? Any ideas? I'd love to just delete the email account and then put it back on. However, I cannot a way to delete the account on this update. 😢

Hi there jordanhh,

Thanks for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.

I see you're not receiving notifications for Calendar events. I can suggest some troubleshooting steps that may help.

If you're using iCloud Calendar, see the steps in Get help using iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders .

If you're using another calendar account, try the following:
  1. Tap Settings > Contacts > Accounts.
  2. Tap the account.
  3. Toggle "Calendars" to off, then back on.
If this doesn't solve it, tap "Delete Account" from the account page to remove it, then re-add it from Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account.

Let us know if this takes care of it.

Cheers.

I am having the same issue. This began when I updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 10. I have since upgraded my phone to iPhone 7 and still have the same issue. Some calendar events will alert and others will not. I found I have better luck with the calendar widget turned off. (which is a bummer as I like to see a quick look at what my day looks like without having to open the Calendar app) My calendars are all on the iCloud. I have completed the tips above. If you have any further suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.
