Q: Problem with WiFi Connectivity
Hello everyone.
Since yesterday my Macbook pro (mid-2012;Retina), running El Capitan 10.11.6, has been acting up. I am no longer able to connect to my home router when I'm on OS X. But when I switch to Windows 10 (using bootcamp) it connects to it even before I am able to sign in. Both my IPhone and my IPad have no problems whatsoever. The problem emerged probably a week ago when after I shut down the machine and turn it back on it would not see my router, but it was fixed with a simple restart. However, yesterday evening I came home from university and have not been able to connect or see it at all. I searched the forums, tried all the wireless help stuff, did the trick with the location, reset the preferences and nothing worked. When I go to the university I have no problems connecting to the network over there on either OS. I have not been able to find anything else which could help me so I am turning to the community to see if anyone has had similar problems and hopefully a solution.
Thank you.
