    Hello there, Nishant Tandel!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are having issues with your Touch ID, battery usage, and Vibrations on your iPhone. I know how important it is to be sure both are working properly at all times. With the Touch ID, check out this article to Use Touch ID on iPhone and iPad. Specifically:

Try using Touch ID after each step:

    1. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS.
    2. Make sure that your fingers and the Home button are clean and dry.1 For the Home button, use a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe off any dirt or debris.
    3. Your finger should cover the Home button completely, touching the surrounding metal ring. While Touch ID is scanning, you shouldn't tap too quickly or move your finger around.
    4. If you're using a case or screen protector, make sure it doesn't cover the Home button or the surrounding ring.
    5. Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode and make sure that iPhone Unlock or iTunes & App Store is on, and that you've enrolled one or more fingerprints.
    6. Try enrolling a different finger.
    7. If you can't enroll any of your fingers, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider, or contact Apple Support.

1 Moisture, lotions, sweat, oils, cuts, or dry skin might affect fingerprint recognition. Certain activities can also temporarily affect fingerprint recognition, including exercising, showering, swimming, cooking, or other conditions or changes that affect your fingerprint.

If those steps don't work and for the issue with the vibration and battery, check out this article with steps to Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

The next thing you might want to try is going to Settings on the iPhone and then to Reset. Once there, tap Reset all Settings. This will reset the iPhone settings, but not erase personal information such as photos, contacts, or music. It will, however, remove Wi-Fi and VPN settings so be sure you have those settings and passwords ready for when the iPhone is started back up.

If that doesn't work, it would be a good idea to be sure there is not a software issue as the root cause of this for you.

    1. Check out this article for the steps for How to backup your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
    2. Use this article for the steps to Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings.
    3. Once that is done, set the phone up as new and test the phone to see if the issue is still going on. Then, follow this article to Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup

    Cheers!

You are not addressing Apple here so if you tried those steps and still have the issue, kindly contact your local Apple Support to see what needs to be done at this point. Rudeness is not needed to those trying to help

Also, if you do not have local phone number for Apple, you can chat in instead and they will be more than happy to help you with this issue.

I'm having the same issue. When I press the fingerprint scan it tells me to press the home button to unlock. It used to just unlock my whole screen and open up when I put my fingerprint on it but not since this new update 10.0.1.

Is this even after you performed the troubleshooting steps outline above?

All except the phone reset because I don't feel like clearing my entire phone for it. Just like the OP said mine was working perfectly fine until the update

I assume by "reset" you actually mean "restore". Restoring from back up, and restoring from new would be your next steps. Or, you can take the phone to Apple and have them do it for you. Or, live with the issue.
