favorites deleted in maps

If you have a mac, there is a way to go into time machine and restore the file from when before the favorites were deleted. You need to have all your other devices turned off when you do this. After you restore the maps file, you need to unfavoritve and favorite again the location. This will put it at the bottom of the list of favorites, but it will have the effect of pushing it out to the other devices. Then turn on the other devices. The favorites should appear.

While this trick works, whenever I have more than a few things favorited, my favorites disappear every few weeks or sooner.

First I recommend restarting. This can resolve many unexpected behaviors. Follow the steps below to restart

1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
3. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Yesterday I found all my maps favourites for my upcoming holiday had been deleted. I spent hours putting them back in. Today they are all gone again.

I have the same problem. I've found the hundreds of favorites I've entered over time are all gone too.

I Have a case logged with Apple. I haven't heard anything since the 27th though.

i had to restore back to ios9.3.5 , then a restore from a backup just to get mine back.

hopefully this will get fixed soon...
