How to I get a User Guide for iPhone6?
Could I download the iPhone6 User Guide(pdf) directly to my Mac and not to my phone?

You can set this as a bookmark in Safari. The user guides go by the iOS, not the model of the phone.

It looks like the only other way to get it is as a book in the iBooks app.
Open iBooks on the Mac, select the iBooks store, search for iOS and pick the iOS version 9 for iPhone (unless you have upgraded to 10). There is no guide from Apple specifically for any given model of iPhone. There are iOS guides that apply to all iPhone models that are supported for use with that version of iOS.
