Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are stuck with one song repeating instead of all of your songs shuffling. Take a look at the Play music section of the iPhone User Guide below. Is it possible that you double-tapped to repeat a song instead of shuffling all songs?
First, adjust these settings to display your music in the order that you want.
Choose how to sort songs
Tap Settings > Music > Sort Songs & Albums
You can choose to sort your music by Artist or by Title
In the Music app, you have the option to sort the songs and albums in your library by artist. For example, with this setting on, if I have three songs by Alan Jackson in my library from different albums, they will appear in the A's (artist's first name) and will play sequentially.
Select the Album Category, turn Shuffle on and off
At the Home screen, tap the Music app, tap Library (lower-left), tap Albums
Tap on an Album to select it.
You can tap on any of the songs listed in the album to play them individually.
At the bottom of the screen, if you tap on the small icon of the album (or the current playing song title), you will see the full Now Playing screen. At the bottom of the screen you will see the shuffle and repeat icons. If you tap shuffle, you will see that it is enabled because a pink box will surround the icon.iPhone User Guide - Play music
