Q: There is no option to sync my phone

I have an iphone 5s. my computer and iphone are connected to the same wifi and through a USB cord. When i looked for answers there is suppose to be a little phone icon in the top corner but that is not showing up for me. How do i sync my phone with itunes?????

Follow the steps in this article:

If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support

especially the ones about the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver in the "If you use a Windows PC" section.
